About The Conference

The Global Dharma Conference (GDC) is an experiential event bringing together college students, young professionals and others from around the world for 3 days of thought provoking sessions, blissful Yoga and meditation workshops, fun-filled dances and performances.  It is an initiative of the Hindu Students Council, the largest Hindu youth group in North America.

Imagine a weekend full of reconnecting or networking with youth and leaders from over 20 countries and from numerous universities and colleges!  Imagine a refreshing opportunity to get answers to some of the pressing questions you may have regarding various traditional practices such Yoga, why we do certain things within the Hindu tradition, etc. from world famous leaders and personalities.  Imagine learning Yoga and meditation from renowned teachers while nodding to the beats of world famous artists and performers.

The Conference has invited top spiritual leaders, celebrity guests, speakers and performers to come together and share their wisdom, experiences and talent with the attendees.

Indeed, GDC 2015 proposes to be a truly memorable event reconnecting the youth to their roots as well as to the powerful and profound concepts of Dharma and its applications to create a more holistic and harmonious Self, Society and World.

GDC 2003:

GDC 2003 was the largest event of its kind organized by young American Hindus and was attended by over 2000 people from 20 countries and youth from over 70 universities around the world, from Trinidad to the Netherlands, from Australia to the UK, from Brazil to Nepal and from India to Venezuela!
